Margaret Rhee is an emerging interdisciplinary writer, scholar, and artist, dedicated to social justice. Currently she is a doctoral student in Comparative Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. She has published academic articles on issues such as media representation, race, gender, sexuality, and participatory action HIV/AIDS education in Amerasia Journal, the anthology Cash Course: Reflections on the Film 'Crash' for Critical Dialogues about Race, Power, and Privilege, and the journal Sexuality Education and Social Policy. Previously, she worked as writer and editor for YOLK magazine, Chopblock.com, and Back Stage Magazine in Los Angeles.
