Robert Ang was planted and watered in the Bay Area where he continues to sprout leaves and photosynthesize as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley. As a queer and Asian male growing up in the age of the internets, he draws upon his past experiences in gender-bending in online communities as well as badly written final fantasy slash to shape his current outlook.

While not necessarily "informed" as to what it means socially to be queer and asian out in the "real world" he is passionate about the nature of passion, and the way it develops stunted in marginalized environments. His hope is to one day create stories that will make future generations remember that desire and deprivation are universal and entangled.
