media: daniel henney in new cbs series

YES. YES. YES
Yes, it's awesome to finally have some prime time representation of an asian-american in the U.S. but Daniel Henney is just fucking HOT. I was just gushing with a friend over aim about various folks that we found cute and Daniel Henney was definitely wayyy up there. OK, so we had the usual debate over Daniel Henney vs. Dennis Oh (I'm putting those in alphabetical order, FYI) but whatever. It doesn't matter. He's going to be TV! In the US! Not just in another Korean Soap Drama! Hell yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. RAWR.

Henney's US TV Series to Air in Fall
"Three Rivers,'' a new American TV drama starring heartthrob Daniel Henney, is set to air in the fall, according to the recently released CBS 2009-2010 primetime schedule. The 29-year-old recently made his Hollywood debut in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine'' opposite Hugh Jackman, and had appeared in the pilot of Three Rivers. In the upcoming medical drama about organ transplants, the Korean-American actor will play the role of Dr. David Lee, "a womanizing surgical resident who's broken as many hearts as he's replaced,'' according to a statement released by the broadcaster. His co-stars include Alex O'Loughlin ("Moonlight'') and Katherine Moenning ("The L Word''), Julia Ormond ("The Curious Case of Benjamin Button''). The former model rose to stardom here through the TV soap "My Lovely Samsoon'' and romantic comedy "Seducing Mr. Robin,'' and received critical acclaim for the film "My Father.'' - The Korea Times
